The POLIFLUID® system

Patented by EUROSIDER®, is a revolution in the world of Industrial Powder Coating.

Using the principle of selective permeation

POLIFLUID® concentrates the nitrogen contained in compressed air and uses it as a carrier fluid in all stages of application of Powder Coating process.

Which are the benefits of using the POLIFLUID® system?

The benefits of using nitrogen are reinforced by the fluid’s temperature management (Eurosider®’s patent) and the option of ionizing it with positive or negative charges. POLIFLUID® supplies an inert, anhydrous gas, making humidity and temperature constant: two variables that were previously uncontrollable. Application takes place under the same conditions both over the course of the day and in any climatic situation.

POLIFLUID®, by lowering moisture, it prevents powder from accumulating on the inner walls of the delivery hose and inside the gun: when done with compressed air, guns periodically release clumps of powder that result in unacceptable levels of non-uniformity on the polymerized film.

POLIFLUID® is installed between the air compressor and the application point located near the spraying booth.

It does not replace but works with existing equipment in the coating cycle, such as:

• Electrostatic application, with a gun equipped with a high-voltage generator (“Corona effect”)

• Tribostatic application, where powder particles are charged by friction produced by their own movement being induced along a specially designed and shaped surface

Various powder kinds can be used, including metalized ones.
